A Learning Garden Designed for Exploration

Mommies Creationz is an immersive early learning environment where children grow through curiosity, creativity, and connection. With approximately 2,000 square feet of licensed space and multiple learning rooms, children experience days that flow through different environments, supporting curiosity, movement, and group routines.

Children learn in multiple environments, each intentionally designed for different types of discovery.

  • Five dedicated learning rooms across two levels, each arranged for creativity, exploration, and social connection

  • A bright, open upstairs learning space for morning gatherings, meals, creative work, and group time

  • A large downstairs discovery level with centers for science, literacy, music, engineering, imaginative play, and hands on STEAM invitations

  • A sunny deck that serves as our primary outdoor STEAM space where children investigate, experiment, build, and explore open ended materials

  • A cozy patio off the lower level for water play and gardening

  • A spacious backyard and full playground for movement, nature based learning, and gross motor development

  • Trails around the property where children enjoy nature walks, observe seasonal changes, and experience wildlife including deer, tadpoles, hummingbirds, eagles, and the occasional blue heron

This variety allows children to transition through the day with purpose, moving through environments that support their energy, curiosity, and developmental needs.

Our Learning Garden is thoughtfully designed for children who enjoy exploring different spaces, engaging in hands on activities, and participating in gentle group routines. Children who thrive here are curious, active, and eager to discover, moving comfortably between indoor learning rooms, outdoor STEAM work, nature walks, and playful group experiences.

We welcome children who benefit from warm, predictable structure, multiple transitions supported with gentle guidance, opportunities for movement and exploration, outdoor learning, hands-on STEAM invitations, and open-ended materials. Children who thrive here enjoy social connection within a small group, respond well to safety coaching, and learn simple safety rules with supportive adult guidance.

We partner closely with families to support each child’s unique strengths, temperament, and developmental needs. Our goal is to ensure every child feels safe, supported, and ready to grow within our immersive environment.

Meet the MC Team

Mommies Creationz Daycare and Learning Garden is supported by a small, dedicated team that brings warmth, structure, and genuine care to every day. Children quickly learn that they are surrounded by a community of adults, older peers, and friendly animals who help make the Learning Garden feel like home. Our environment is especially supportive for children who enjoy friendly interactions, gentle guidance, and find comfort in familiarity.

  • Ms. ‘Letta is the owner, operator, and guiding heart behind Mommies Creationz Daycare and Learning Garden. She brings a blend of professional structure, early childhood expertise, and warm, home based care to every day.

    With years of experience in early learning, leadership, and family partnership, she is committed to creating environments where children feel loved, families feel supported, and learning feels joyful. She serves as the Co Vice President of the Family Child Care Association of Pierce County and is the founder of the Quality Connections Cohort, a professional development group that supports licensed providers in building high quality environments and strong instructional practices.

    She holds academic achievements in early learning and child development and participates in continuing education, Early Achievers aligned training, and specialized professional development. Her passion is helping children grow through meaningful play, hands on exploration, and nurturing relationships within a space designed to honor their curiosity and celebrate their strengths.

  • Amanda is known to the children as a source of comfort and joy. She brings a playful, childlike energy that helps children feel at ease, especially during transitions or moments of adjustment. When Ms. Letta is away, Amanda often steps in as the substitute, offering familiarity, warmth, and a steady presence that keeps the day feeling safe and predictable.

    She participates in continuing education, Early Achievers aligned training, and professional development. Her presence contributes to the supportive, family centered atmosphere that defines the Learning Garden.

  • Niklaus is Ms. Letta’s son and he brings a friendly, big kid energy to the space. He is often seen in the background of group photos and is a familiar part of the Learning Garden community. Younger children enjoy his gentle interactions and respond well to the comfort he provides during transitions and adjustments. He helps model positive peer behavior and supports the welcoming, community based feel that makes the Learning Garden special.

  • The Learning Garden is home to several gentle mascots who bring joy, comfort, and curiosity to the children each day. These friendly animals help create a warm, home like atmosphere and offer natural opportunities for observation, empathy, and connection.

    Havana is the family’s small Havanese dog and a beloved part of the MC Team. She is gentle and moves through the day like a furry child herself, going with the flow of the children. She is equally ready to be quiet during calm moments or to race and play during outdoor time. Her presence adds joy, comfort, and familiarity to the daily rhythm.

    The Learning Garden also includes a large freshwater aquarium filled with peaceful fish. Children enjoy watching them and observing their movements as part of the calm, natural environment.

Mommies Creationz is more than a daycare. It is a community, a learning garden, and a place where children grow through play, preparation, and connection.
